AML Advisory Group is seeking a Teller for our bank client located in Miami, FL

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for teller duties which include processing deposits/withdrawals, night deposit, ATM, loan repayments, cashier checks, etc. and balancing at the end of the day.

• Assists with night deposit duties which include but not limited to logging bags, processing deposits, issuing receipts and returning bags to customers.

• Responsible for branch functions using dual control, including opening and closing of the branch; assists in balancing vault currency and coin, also balance ATM Machines and replenish them as needed.

• Responsible for opening new accounts, maintaining and closing accounts ensuring the proper documentation is obtain from customer in order to be in compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures.

• Assists customers with the selection of the bank’s products and services and analyzes customer’s account activities to determine cross-selling opportunities to expand and retain the customer’s business.

• Ability to cold-call new opportunities to capture new deposits and referrals to achieve the established goals.

• Responds to inquiries from both internal and external customers in reference to customers’ accounts and/or transactions ensuring completeness of inquiries.

• Responsible for completing on a timely basis all requests from BSA, answering KYC, ECS and RFI’s on a timely basis.

• Responsible of processing NSF and overdraft processing; holds and stop payments; ATM duties; documentation and procedures required for accounts involving the death of account holder(s); incoming and outgoing collections; incoming and outgoing wires requests.

• Ensures implementation and compliance to meet security precautions and protect customer deposits, bank assets and staff.

• Provide support and coverage to other South Florida branches as needed

Salary: $42K-$47K

Requirements:

• Education: High School degree or equivalent experience.

• Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the Retail banking or cash handling field.

• Advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

• Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish
