AML Advisory Group is seeking a Treasury Analyst for our bank client located in Miami, FL

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Daily Financial statements and Daily Variance Reports
  • Prepare the bank’s daily cash position and provide both short term and long-term liquidity projections
  • Assist in preparing the overnight allocation of funds and in managing the various funding sources such as FHLB, FED discount window, Overnight Fed Funds, institutional deposits, and collateral management.
  • Prepare reports needed for the Asset Liability Committee.
  • Prepare analysis of deposit retention/run-off and loan repricing/maturities and others which may be developed
  • Prepare Assets/Liability management reports: Interest rate risk and economic value of equity. Reconcile actual and forecasted results to understand the causes of any variances and to improve future forecasts. Create and maintain and analyze historical databases of factors used to create modeling assumptions.
  • Prepare statistical reports to assist in the Loan and Deposit Pricing decisions for discussion by the Asset Liability Committee.
  • Assist in the preparation of board reports i.e. Deposits Composition, Stratification Report, Deposit Concentration report, etc.
  • Handle other projects in close co-operation with the SVP, Treasurer and/or other line managers in order to meet business requirements.
  • Make practical suggestions for enhance work progress and results in the treasury/finance area
  • Operates computer terminal or personal computer to process account activity, determine balances, and resolve problems within given authority.

  • Provide assistance to other departments when required.
  • Prepare system Queries and data management to assist in reports preparation.

Salary: $75,000


  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of cash management, cash forecasting, and liquidity monitoring.
  • Knowledge of general accounting and related accounting and record keeping systems in a financial institution.
